1.        Readability and visual appeal

Focus on making your CV visually appealing and easy to read, as this is essential to upgrading it. Choose a clean, professional layout with consistent fonts and spacing. Use sections, headers, and bullet points to ensure the document flows naturally and that key details stand out. Make sure your strengths are prominent so that hiring managers can notice them quickly.

2.        Academic excellence and relevant courses

Highlight your academic achievements, including your GPA if it’s strong, and make sure that relevant courses align with the topic of the bachelor’s or master’s thesis. Mention any research experiences or certifications you've earned in this area to show the professor that you have a solid foundation and genuine interest in the subject. This also underscores your commitment and academic performance.

3.        Research skills and relevant experience

Emphasize any prior research, internships, lab experiences, or projects that have helped you develop research skills. Detail specific tasks, methodologies, or tools you've worked with that are relevant to your thesis topic. Demonstrating that you have hands-on experience and can work independently in a research setting will strengthen your CV.
